On this page, you will find Paulien's installation works. She first tried out installation art in the second semester of her second BA year, in which she used different types of clay (Explosion!). She enjoyed working on such a large scale, and was able to try out different materials. The second time Paulien made an installation piece, was during the first semester of her third BA year, in which the materials were paper and salt (Growing).  

During Paulien's Erasmus exchange program at SCA, in Sydney, Australia, she learned to work with metal and wood. She followed a course in their Wood workshop and also a course about Silversmithing in their Jewellery & Object workshop. On this page, you will also find all the works she had made in these materials during her exchange program.
